More Manhattan faces and places yesterday at the Whitney museum and the High Line park.
Or at least trying…went to Washington Square Park for the Bernie rally, but gave up because of the huge lines to get in – 27,000 people according to NY Times. Great photo opportunity though, results below.
Actually more like the cold (40 degrees in April), the wind and the rain, because I’ve decided to experience live american politics. There was a Bernie event close to my house at LPAC in Long Island City. They have a big hall of 740 seats which was full by the time we got there, and a small 180 seats hall where we sat. Bernie gave a short speech in the small room first, then moved to the bigger audience when we left. Overall it was an interesting experience.
Traditional annual Easter day parade on 5th Ave.
in Central Park, Manhattan. The ideal place for taking nice pictures. See below
Manhattan under 26″ of snow, a very big thing according to mass media, but something just normal in winter time during my childhood time.
Short walk on Roosevelt Island on a foggy Sunday afternoon, before and after the rain. Images taken with a phone camera (Nexus 5X).
